Shiro is a lead product designer — currently at Disney, based in New York City.
hello!

About
I currently design for the Ad Platforms team at Disney, where I work across complex systems that power campaign creation, creative workflows, and measurement. Previously I was on the Frameworks team where I led cross-platform frameworks spanning Hulu and Disney Help Centers, email systems, App Store experiences, and in-app messaging.
My background spans both product and visual design, allowing me to operate from high-level strategy to craft. I approach design with a strong emphasis on problem framing and user needs, ensuring that solutions are not only visually compelling, but scalable, usable, and grounded in real workflows.
Outside of work, I’m usually trying to keep my plants, and myself, hydrated.
Standouts
- Led end-to-end design of meal planning and shopping list features for the Food Network Kitchen app across iOS, Android, tablet, and web from initial concept through launch

- Contributed to four national upfront campaigns, creating large-scale B2B experiences for advertisers, press, and partners
- Navigated and designed through two major media mergers, adapting products and systems at scale
- Designed and illustrated a physical conversation card game
Awards
- Challenger Award, Design Con – Disney Streaming
- Creative One Award – Warner Bros. Discovery
- Webby Award, Food Network Kitchen – Warner Bros. Discovery
